With the responsibilty of being the leader in locomotive and wagon market and its over hundered-year-old experiement , TÜLOMSAŞ (Turkish Locomotive and Engine Industries,Inc.),which meets the requirements of national and international markets ,has just added a new attack to its achievements and taken an order of producing 5 Type DH 7000 B Shunting Locomotives for Iraq Railways.
The Locomotives has finished in 2008.TÜLOMSAŞ has produced 31 Locomotives for Iraq Railways so far.
 5 pieces of Flame Proof Diesel Hydraulic Shunting Locomotives produced by TÜLOMSAŞ for Iraq Railways (IRR) were delivered on 24 of December 2008 at Anakara Train Station.
Turkish Minister of Transportation Binali YILDIRIM,Iraq Minister of Transportation Amer Abdul Jabar Ismail ,General Director of TCDD Süleyman KARAMAN and many guests took place at the Ceromony.
The shunting Locomotives,whose Research and Developing studies were applied at TÜLOMSAŞ and they are pertinent UIC Norms and the standarts defined by IRR will be used at rafineries.
All the tests and surveillances of the locomotives have been made in front of Iraq Commisson and Independent Audit Company. The followings are some of the specifications,
