Electrical Machinery Factory is the largest Turkish plant in the field of production and repair of high power electric motors and traction motors, used in locomotives with a power up to 530 kW.
Production of alternators, control cabinets, cabling and impregnation works are also realised in this factory. Vacuum and compression varnishing processes are applied in the impregnating plant of the factory where industrial type alternating and direct current power engines and alternators are manufactured. The traction motors and alternators are subjected to tests in the electrical test center in compliance to the related standards after receiving F type insulation coating and varnishing process. Control blocks and rectifiers are manufactured locally and assembled according to international standards in the Electrical Plant by specialized staff.
